From Courtney Oliver's powerful vocal presentation of "Cara Mia" and his heartfelt interpretation of Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World," to Scott Cruce's incredible tenor range as he performs songs by The Four Seasons, The Eagles, and his show-stopping "Lion Sleeps Tonight," The Sock Hops' interpretation of the original artists' works is extraordinary. |

Larry Lysse's versatility shines out as he adds high-energy renditions of "With This Ring" and "Mustang Sally" and then charms the audience with the mellow sound of Johnny Mathis' "Misty." Doug Jacques anchors the group with his bass notes, as featured in "Blue Moon" and "Monster Mash". Ward Hiss' mellow lead vocals on "Margaritaville" and Jimmy Durante's "As Time Goes By" add the baritone glue that holds the complex harmonies together. Ed Lyon's work as production engineer keeps the background music flowing as The Sock Hops take you back to the good-time memories of yesterday. |

For the Sock Hops, bringing versatility, professionalism and a great musical experience to their audiences is the only way to go... and it's infectious! Specializing in recreating '50s and '60s songs in 4- and 5-part harmony, The Sock Hops also manage to delight a wide range of age groups by including some '70s and '80s music, and occasionally even some of the REALLY new stuff from the early '90s. |

Featured by Atlanta radio stations Fox 97 and Cool 105.7 in several major concert productions, including the Ultimate Oldies Concert at the Georgia Dome and as opening acts for internationally-renowned performing artists, The Sock Hops have shared the stage with such notables as The Temptations, Peter Noone (of Herman's Hermits), Three Dog Night, The Swingin' Medallions, Sha-Na-Na, The Grass Roots and The Rascals. One of the greatest compliments ever heard by the group was when Cory Wells and Danny Hutton of Three Dog Night came out from backstage while the Sock Hops were performing and said "We've never heard a group reproduce the sounds of the original artists the way they do- we thought they were playing original CD's, but when we heard and watched The Sock Hops doing 'The Great Pretender,' we knew they were absolutely for real... incredible!" |

Although their performance focus is the greater Atlanta area, the group has performed throughout the southeastern United States in both public and private engagements.
